We packed up the family roadster and headed down south toward Milwaukee this past weekend for Aidan's baptism.
Mya did pretty well on the trip down, considering it was a 3.5 hour trip! She slept for about an hour, woke up a little crabby and then we stopped for lunch. We kept her entertained with books and toys. She then fell asleep again, thank goodness!
Mya met Michael and Jennie's dog Roxie. She's been around dogs before, but none this little. She liked her at first, but then wasn't so sure!
The baptism was on Sunday and Greg and I were thrilled to be asked to be Aidan's godparents, along with Emily and Scott!
Mya liked Aidan, or maybe she liked his toys! She loves other kids, so it was a good thing!
We even got in a family photo before the baptism! It is virtually impossible to get Mya's attention AND get her to smile at the camera now!
Well, maybe sometimes we can get her attention! I'm pretty sure Greg was waving a toy around in order to get a smile out of her!
Mya got to spend some with her Grandpa Steve and Grandma Pat. In fact, she got to hang out with Grandma Pat at the baptism while we were up at the front of the church doing our godparently duties! Thanks, Grandma Pat!
