Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?

I've said for a while that I need to capture a time when Mya is reading her books.  I think of her voice as being so sweet sounding and I don't ever want to forget that.  One of her favorite books to "read" is Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?  I love listening to her read and hope that she forever loves to read, too.

Sunny Day, Sweepin' the Clouds Away

Who doesn't love good weather on the weekend?  We made the most of it!  Saturday we cleaned out the cars and Mya helped us out.  Cleaning is one of her favorite things to do. Then I turned on the hose to clean the mats in the car.  I gave her the hose and she had some fun.  She thought it was fun to chase me with it, too.

After a little bit, and some drenched clothes, I suggested that she put on her swimsuit and we could head back outside.  WELL, I don't know that I've ever seen her so motivated to do something!  She absolutely hearts wearing swimsuits around the house, so this was right up her alley.

Then Greg pulled out the sprinkler and the real fun began.  The water was freezing, but she didn't care.  I can forsee how many of our summer days will be spent!

On Sunday, Mother's Day, Mya helped me do some planting.  She is a great little helper. She pulled out her shovels, watering can and wagon.  Cutest thing ever!

Mya is my amazing little girl.  Love her to pieces!

Biker Babe

Mya is now the proud owner of a brand new trike!  She was super duper excited to try it out.  Unfortunately, her legs are pretty stubby so she's having a tough time getting the peddles to go.  But, she is persistent and continues to do her best.  One night she looked at me and said, "Mya ride bike, okay?"  Uh, yeah...ride on, kiddo!

More Stellar Performances

Mya's renditions of "Winnie the Pooh" and "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star."  And yes, both performances take place on the toilet.
