Last week we headed up to the lake for a few days of sun and fun. Well, we had sun just one day, but fun every day! :)
The water was surprisingly nice! I had anticipated it being a bit chilly, but it was great! Mya jumped right in and had sooooo much fun in the water! She used her floaty ring and kickboard a bunch and then swam on her own.
There was also plenty of time to relax in the hammock!
Sun and swimming sure can tucker a little girl out. It didn't take much for Mya to get down for a nap!
After naptime, it was time to head back outside. We spent the rest of the day swimming, playing and going for a boat ride. Lisa let Mya drive the boat. She actually drove the boat...and was good! She turned when she needed to turn and thought she was hot stuff!
One of the days was cruddy, so we went to Rice Lake to go out to lunch and do some shopping. Mya kept herself entertained by reading comic books...can you tell she looks comfortable!?
Finally, we Mya spent a lot of time on the trampoline. The amount of bouncing would have made me sick...but she was in heaven! Non-stop bouncing and doing tricks. She kept showing us her gymnastics moves.
One of the days the sky turned dark. I grabbed my camera quick and took a couple shots of Mya. I love them (minus the tattoos). I think they will be going into a frame soon!
We'll be heading back to the cabin later this week for a few days. We CANNOT wait!
