Mya, my mom, and I took a trip to two pet stores today for a field trip. Our goal was to seek out some baby chicks. At the first pet store is where we found the baby chicks. Mya was mesmerized by them! She watched them intently, pointed, and giggled at them. The baby chicks weren't allowed to get out (for fear that they may "fly the coop"), but we had fun watching and listening to them. Maybe Mya needs a baby chick in her Easter basket? :) We also saw a big dog getting a bath. Again, Mya watched very closely. She studies everything so carefully and she is so quiet when doing it!
Our second trip took us to another pet store. Mya checked out the puppy dogs...surprisingly, she wasn't too sure of them! There was one particularly rowdy pup who kept smushing her nose up against the glass. Mya made sure she was close to Grama then! We also looked at fish, bunnies, birds, and sleeping fat cat. I think it is great that Mya is so interested in things now. Very curious girl! We'll have a grand ol' time when we hit up some zoos this summer!!
