Ellie's arrival means that we all have some adjusting to do. I am adjusting to being up during the night again and lots and lots of diapers! I have forgotten how much these little buggers poop! Ha! And Mya is adjusting to not being the only kiddo in the house. It's not bad, don't get me wrong, but her sassy ways are sometimes a lot to take. So, we've been trying to be good about having some one-on-one time with her.
A couple days after we came home from the hospital, Greg took Mya to Govin's lambing barn. She was super excited about it, especially the baby chicks.
While Greg was still home on paternity leave, he and his dad took a trip with Mya down to Wabasha. They visited the Eagle Center and then went to Lark Toys in Kellogg. They didn't get home until around 7 p.m. so I know they had a fun time together!
This picture cracks me up. Apparently the eagles were really loud on this particular day and the screeching freaked Mya out!
Another day Mya and I went to have ice cream. She chose the raspberry flavor because it was a purplish color. Good thing she thought it tasted good too!
Once Ellie gets older, we'll do some one-on-one things with her too. These girls are both so special to us and we want to make sure they know that!
