Last week I had a DPI Teacher Effectiveness Training in the Dells. When I was asked to go, I figured it was going to be something through CESA and it was going to be local. Little did I know that it was going to take place in the Dells! Greg took time off of work and we pulled Mya out of daycare for a couple days and we headed down!
A car ride with a little person is always entertaining. Thank goodness for iPhones! Mya listened to Pandora and took selfies.
We went down on Wednesday night after I was done with work. When we got there, it was about 8:00, so we went down to the waterpark to check it out. We've not been to the Kalahari before, only The Great Wolf Lodge. Mya was super duper excited!
The next morning, as I got ready for work, Mya got ready for the waterpark. She was beyond thrilled! So while I had to do work stuff, Greg and Mya spent the day swimming and going down slides.
That night, for my birthday, we went to Cracker Barrel to eat. Yum, yum, yum!!
After dinner we went down to the waterpark for a couple more hours. Man, this girl is fearless. The wilder the slide, the better! We went on some where all 3 of us could go, too. The sound of her giggles was the best sound ever! She was so excited and I was so excited for her!
Greg and Mya spent the morning at the waterpark on Friday and then later that afternoon we packed up and headed for home. Waterparks most definitely wear out little girls! She slept for most of the ride home! We had such a great time! I wish I could have spent more time with Greg and Mya at the park, but duty called!
